OVATION is SBDC Montreal's latest live, full-length production.

OVATION’s immersive narrative captivated the audience’s imagination through masterful choreography and profound visuals set against an emotionally-charged soundtrack. Audiences traveled through a bold, compelling and important journey where they experienced the impact that arts have on education, health, culture, and community first-hand.

OVATION helped raise funds to support OWTA’s mission of offering accessible performing arts education to Montreal's West Island communities. Learn more about OWTA on their website.

OVATION Soundtrack

Masterfully-created soundtracks are the signature of every SBDC production. OVATION contains over 150 live-and-timecoded nonlinear multimedia cues and 900 lighting cues, all working in careful symphony to create a harmonious immersive experience. The soundtrack contains an expansive and eclectic mix of re-worked songs, samples, loops and soundscape recordings. Produced by Robert Lynch, the OVATION soundtrack took 1 month to assemble and was first shared with the cast in its final form in November.
